Originating from West Sumatra, two dancers or a group of dancers perform Tari Piring of the Saucer Dance. It has a variety of quick movements and sometimes the soft clicking of the saucers. This dance portrays happiness, joy, togetherness, well-being and the prosperity of Minangkabau people.
