This dance tells us the story of Nyai Dasima, a beautiful girl from Jakarta who had to choose between two men, a Dutchman or an Indonesian. The movements show how she moves from one side to the other, not able to make up her mind. This dance was created by Mrs. Wiwiek Widyastuti, who also created the Lambang Sari dance.
